An organization set up in conjunction with über rocker, Bono from U2 and a group of prominent sociologists and scientists, www.one.org is an organization that invests into the plethora of pressing issues facing the African continent.

 

Possibly no other continent has been so continuously ravaged over the centuries for it's raw materials, including the people themselves, during the years of Colonial rule.Slavery may ostensibly be in the past, but other aids, poverty, education, health care, economic development and political stability are all issues focused on by the One organization.

 

Some may say that it has become a fashion for high profile music and film stars to put their name behind these types of project, but there is no doubt at all that Bono, and his association of partners to this project are working hard to address many of the above issues.
