Andres – DJ Loud Betz

A professional Backgammon player at age 19, Andre established himself in the early days of an emerging dance scene in the now internationally renown Spanish party Island of Ibiza.

During his 18-year tenure, firstly as a respected local mover and shaker before becoming a promoter in association with new to the island, Amnesia and Space.

Initialy launching a scene recognized DJ record shop while creating outdoor parties on the side to nurture an underground touch to clubby Ibiza.  Fiinally, this lead to him founding the cult status  Sunset Cafe, launching and publishing the local Gig Guide, Patrysan, and launching his own chain of specialty clubbing stores inclusive of their own clothing line.

Andres visited the Nicoya Peninsula back in the early 1990’s at a time when roads, banks, telephones were a distant dream, he purchased the Sunset Hills property for it’s rugged beauty, remote tranquillity – reminiscent to Ibiza's early  days.

Mixing music daily in the heart of the jungle with the backdrop of the panoramic Playa Hermosa beach breaks and awe-inspiring sunsets, he decided it was about time more than the local Howler and Whiteface monkeys should have the chance to experience this exceptional part of the world.

A place where nature and music blend seamlessly. As co-organizer of Breathe, DJ Lord Betz will close the week's music happenings on his home turf as no one else can.
